Linear guide has a linear rail (25) on which a guide vehicle (26) is supported so that it can be driven up and down. A longitudinal measurement system comprises a measurement strip arranged parallel to the guide rail and measurement head (30) that moves along the strip. The strip is an Eddy current sheet which is surrounded by a exciter block (28) acting as an acceleration sensor. An Independent claim is made for a linear guide with an Eddy current measurement sheet and an associated exciter block, where the acceleration sensor operates according to the Ferrari principle. |
