The method has a first metal band (1) with a width which varies along its length formed into an open profile (7) via a rolling tool (9), before attaching a secone metal band (2) to the open side of this profile via welding, for providing a hollow profile (11), the successive manufacturing steps effected in a continous process along a manufacturing line. An Independent claim for a hollow profile manufacturing device is also included. |
