<p>In the present invention, there is disclosed a veterinary composition for protection of dogs against ectoparasites and development stages thereof containing insecticidally active substance exhibiting adulticidal and repellent effect i.e. permethrin, (3-phenoxyphenyl)methyl(+/-)cis-trans-3-(2,2-dichloroethenyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate of the general formula I amounting to 5 to 50 percent by weight, a phenoxycarb substance i.e. ethyl-[2-(4-phenoxyphenoxy)ethyl]carbamate of the general formula II acting as growth regulator on development stages of insects amounting to 5 to 50 percent by weight and 10 to 50 percent by weight of a solvent of diethyleneglycol monoethyl ether of the general formula III. Disclosed is also a method for controlling outer ectoparasites and development stages thereof in dogs, which method comprises application of the above-described veterinary composition to a dog skin. The invented veterinary therapeutical composition intended for dogs destroys all development stages of indicated parasites and is significant from the point of view of a therapeutical effect on skin diseases being primary caused by the parasites.</p> |
