High temperature adhesive

High-temperature-resistant adhesive based on water glass comprises boron nitride as an additive. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Process for gluing flat metal substrates using the above adhesive; and (2) Fuel cell consisting of several metal layers glued together. Preferred Features: The adhesive contains 1-40 wt. %,, preferably 7-25 wt.% boron nitride referred to the dry weight. The boron nitride is present in particle form with a mean particle size of 1-10 microns.
