The invention concerns a device for a step-ladder feeder which is used for division and piece-by-piece feeding of elongated objects. The device consists of a leaning face between the ladder's mount face and front edges. With the invention a step-ladder feeder intended for elongated objects can divide up and feed piece-by-piece with a large variation in gauges.
