METHOD OF OXIDATION OF CYCLOHEXANE

In the discontinuous or continuous oxidation of cyclohexane with molecular oxygen comprising oxidizing gases in the liquid phase at the temperature of 140 to 190 °C and pressure of 0.5 to 5 MPa are added metal salts of variable valency group V, VI and VII, which are soluble in reaction medium. The salts are added in an amount of 0.001 to 0.05 ppm by weight calculated on the metal contained in salt.
