The clockwork mechanism permits adjustment and indication of the correct date for long and short months and has a twenty-four hour wheel (123456.50) moved by the hour wheel of the mechanism. The twenty-four hour wheel moves step by step the day of the month wheel (1.60). The twenty-four hour wheel has a first long tooth (12.41) which projects and at a level other than that of the first long tooth has two additional projecting long teeth (6.50,6.40) which have the same diameter as the first. This clockwork mechanism permits the adjustment forwards and backwards of the date, the day, the month and the leap year by the crown wheel of the winding mechanism.
