The igloo structure is inflatable and has the shape of a half ellipse or a tunnel. It is made of lorry tarpaulin. It is provided with a valve and its coating with snow is mechanically applied, particularly with a snow milling machine. Dependent upon the size of the igloo, two circular and two rectangular parts are cut out of tarpaulin. The valve is welded into a longitudinal side at a space of approximately 15 cm. The maximum width of the parts in the pointed elliptical shape amounts to between 85 and 150 cm.
