PURPOSE: To obtain a composition having good mechanical characteristics, heat resistance and flexibility, capable of providing a polymer having high elongation, excellent in expansion molding and utilizable for interior of automobile, etc., packing of electrical equipments, etc., and building, etc. CONSTITUTION: This polypropylene-based resin composition comprises (A) 50-90 pts.wt. polypropylene having high melt tension in which melt tension(MT) at 230 deg.C and melt flow index(MFR) satisfy the relationship expressed by the formula long MT>-1.16×log MFR +1.2 and (B) 10 pts.wt. to <50 pts.wt. cross- linkable resin composition, and the component B contains (a) an ethylene-based multicomponent copolymer composed of ethylene, a free radical-polymerizable acid anhydride and other comonomer and containing 0.1-20wt.% of a unit derived from the free-radical-polymerizable acid anhydride and 5-40wt.% of an unit derived from other comonomer, (b) a polyhydric alcohol compound having at least two hydroxyl groups in the molecule and (c) a reaction accelerator. This foam is obtained by using the composition. |
