<p>The coupling is a sleeve having axially extending, internal splines, and complementary, profiled ends of the shafts extend into opposite ends of the sleeve. An annular channel is provided in the inner surface of the sleeve, intermediate the, ends of each splined region, and a flexible ring of e.g. PTFE or Nylon is arranged in each channel, so that it extends radially inward of the radially outer ends of the splines on each shaft.</p> |
