The under carriage mounting for an aircraft has two aligned stub sleeves (14a,b) fixed to the undercarriage and two support bearing flanges (10a,b) fixed to the airframe. There are two spherical bearings (12a,b) between the stub sleeves and a tension rod (24) connects the two support bearings to allow free deformation by flexing or pivoting. The tension rod can engage on the spherical bearing inner races.
