New nitrosodiphenylamine derivatives useful for treating e.g. restenosis, diabetes, atherosclerosis associated ischemias, restenosis after angioplasty and stenosis after vascular surgery

Nitrosodiphenylamine derivatives (I) are new. Nitrosodiphenylamine derivatives of formula (I) are new: R = saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon-based group (optionally substituted and optionally interrupted by at least one O or S), H or halogen; n = 1 - 5; i = 0 - 5; A = O or S; B = T1; T1 = -NW, O or -N-NO; W = H or saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon based group; Z = T2; T2 = H, amino, (di)alkylamino, nitro, aminoalkyl, (di)alkylaminoalkyl, -R1-Ar or -N=CHAr; R1 = absent or saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon-based divalent chain; and Ar = carbocyclic or heterocyclic radical (both optionally substituted and optionally saturated and/or aromatic). Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparation of (I); (2) new secondary amines of formula (II); and (3) use of (I) in the preparation of an antioxidant medicinal product useful as a free-radical scavenger. a = 0 - 5; A1 = O or S; B1 = T1; and Z1 = T2.
