A stalk divider for connection to the cutting mechanism table 5 of a combine harvester has a coupling hook 22 pivoted to a tube 1 of the divider frame, the hook being movable into a position in which the divider is locked to a coupling element, e.g. a bolt 12, on the table 5. The tube 1 has a bearing part 15 having two bifurcated arms 16, 17 which provide a fork shaped bearing 20 to receive the bolt 12. For coupling the stalk divider to the table 5, the tube 1 is pushed through an opening 6 so that the bolt 12 raises the hook 22 and lies firmly against the inner part of bearing 20; the hook 22 then swings back to its locking position by its own weight assisted by an additional dead weight on it or a spring 30. The uncoupling is done by a draw rope 31. |
