The thermal printing module comprises, interposed between units (4) for activating, a line of heating dots (3) and co-operating connectors for connecting the module to a printing machine. There is an electronic unit (6) for making its operation secure, by interrupting an electrical flux to the unit (4) activating the line of dots (3), in case of an irrelevant operating information resulting from a faulty mechanical connection between the connectors respectively assigned to the module and to the machine.
