The aluminum section is composed of two sections (2,4) connected along their length by a thermal insulating material. There is a pair of runners (11,12) for receiving anchoring parts of different widths (L1,L2). One runner receives the anchoring part of a split hinge and the other a fastening bolt. The two sections comprise a pair of closed web grooves (8) which receive a semi rigid material insulating strip (6,7).
