Arrangement comprises a seat receiver (7) lying on a pair of seat cross-supports (3, 4). The seat receiver is arranged to position a vehicle seat and is connected to the seat cross-support (4) in a clamping manner and to the seat cross-support (3) using a separate fixing device (10). Preferred Features: The seat cross-support (4) has a flange protrusion (6) and the seat receiver has a hook (8) for interacting with the flange protrusion. The fixing device is formed as a screw which penetrates a bore (11) in the seat receiver and is screwed into the threaded bore of the seat cross-support (3).
