A matrix plane on which the time axis intersects the level axis corresponding to a predetermined keyword is displayed and an identifier indicating aw scene cutting a predetermined interval of a moving picture file is arranged on the matrix plane. When a user moves the position of the identifier arranged on the matrix plane to a desired position, the level corresponding to the position of the identifier arranged on the matrix plane is determined to be the level of the scene corresponding to the identifier. This enhances the operationality of assigning the keyword and the level to the video scene and enables the user to visually confirm the assignment of the keyword and the level.
