A domed mould of, e.g. polypropylene for use in casting ribbed floors or walls, has a hole B for pumping air between the mould and, e.g., the cast concrete floor, which hole is covered on the face of the mould which comes into contact with the concrete by a flexible patch 10 which allows air to be pumped thereunder. The self-adhesive patches 10 are stuck to length of backing tape 11, which can be torn off, leaving a diamond-shaped portion 15 behind, by means of severance lines 12. The diamond-shaped portion 15 extends up to, or nearly up to the edge of the patch, so that when the patch is stuck over the hole, air can pass under portions 19 to facilitate the stripping of the mould. |
