A sensor die (370) having optical sensor (360) is attached to bottom of a sub printed circuit board (PCB) (300). A cap (380) is attached to the bottom of sub PCB, to cover a transparent resin (390) covering the die. A main PCB (200) has multiple pin holes (401) corresponding to pin holes of sub PCB. The sub PCB is fixed to main PCB by inserting pins (400) into pin holes of both the PCBs. An independent claim is included for optical mouse.
