<p>A tilt and/or a telescopic steering column device for vehicle, wherein a column side bracket fitted to a steering column is swingably fitted to a body side bracket installed on a vehicle body, and a fastening bolt inserted into both brackets is tightened to press-fit both brackets to each other at a tilt and/or telescopic adjusting position, whereas the tightening of the fastening bolt is released and press-fitting of both brackets is released so that tilt and/or telescopic adjustment can be performed, a balance or semi-lift spring for energizing a pair of energizing end parts each other is installed, and one energizing end part of the balance or semi-lift spring is fixed to the vehicle body or the vehicle body side bracket and the other energizing end part supports the steering column or column side bracket, and a sliding member coming into contact with the steering column or column side bracket is fitted to the other energizing end part of the balance or semi-lift spring.</p> |
