A linear spark path consists of a slide spark path on the ceramic insulator hopper surface and an air spark path between the lower edge of the measurement electrode's end and the upper hopper edge. The device has a central electrode (3), at least one lateral earth electrode (4) and a ceramic insulator (2) with a bore (6) for the central electrode. The bore opens in the insulator with an angle (beta) and opening diameter (DE) and the central electrode pulled up to the height of the lateral electrode. A spark path consisting of a slide spark path (a) on the hopper surface of the ceramic insulator and an air spark path (c) between the lower edge of the end of the measurement electrode and the upper hopper edge is linear.
