PURPOSE: A system for delivering a subscriber greetings message and a method for embodying the same are provided to display a text, am image or a link URL, expressing a caller's identity or greetings message, on the display window of a called subscriber terminal without an additional process or equipment. CONSTITUTION: A called subscriber terminal, receiving a caller's call connection request from a base station, detects the received signal(S10) and analyzes service information(S11). If the received signal is a greetings message service type(S12a), the called subscriber terminal judges a data type using the header information of the received data(S12b). In case that it is judged that the received greetings message is a text type, the called subscriber terminal determines a display location according to the size of the display panel and displays it(S15). If the received input message is graphic information, the called subscriber terminal deciphers image information according to a selected format, decompresses the graphic data, and displays the graphic(S14). |
