The present invention is directed to a system and a method for enabling an auditor, during the course of a presentation, to select one or a plurality of topics drawing his attention or interest, and, immediately after said presentation or at a later time, to access information related to the topics previously selected. The present invention requires the minimum possible effort and involvement from the auditor (simply pressing a selection button on the auditor's device). When the presentation is over, the auditor can directly consult the information related with the selected topics. The claimed system is based on a synchronization of the local times of the speaker workstation and auditor's devices according to a same universal-time, so that the times at which selections of interesting topics are made by auditors can be correlated with the time intervals during which the presentation foils are presented by the speaker. In a particular embodiment, the synchronization between the speaker workstation and the audience devices is done referring to an universal time based, for instance on a satellite system. |
