The winding device comprises a base (12) with rotatable winding core (18) and guide device (32) for the hose. The guide device has a lever element (34) whose one end section (38) is fitted with a guide member (36) set parallel to the rotational axis (20) of the winding core and whose second end section (40) is attached to the base for swiveling by a swivel connection axis (42) which is parallel to the rotational axis of the winding core. The swivel connecting axis is provided on the side of the winding core opposite the guide member. The winding core has a winding head and axially adjoining bearing section which is mounted rotatable on the base. A drive device (22) with crank handle (24) is provided on the side of the bearing section opposite the winding head.
