The armoured shelter (1) in container form has a floor, ceiling (3) and walls (2) and at least one closable opening (4), and fastening devices at least one the walls for the fastening of units. Armoured plates are installed between the fastening devices which are in the form of fastening rails. The fastening rails and armoured plates are provided at least on the walls but may also be on the ceiling. The opening is closed off by a door (5) upon which are fitted armoured plates.
