PURPOSE: Provided is a health food having pine mushrooms in honey, wherein the mushroom is prevented from browning while the flavor and taste of pine are preserved harmonized with the sweetness of honey. The food is good for geriatric diseases such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and cancer. CONSTITUTION: The preparation of honey with pine mushroom comprises making an aqueous solution containing 2.0-15.0 wt.% of salt, 0.01-5.0 wt.% of ascorbic acid and 80-97 wt.% of water; dipping pine mushrooms in the aqueous solution for 0.5 to 24 hrs, followed by dehydration; and mixing it with honey. |
