PURPOSE: A method for managing personal information by using an SMS(Short Message Service) of a mobile communication terminal is provided to transmit the personal information stored in the mobile communication terminal by using the SMS, thereby conveniently using a terminal telephone directory and operating in other terminal. CONSTITUTION: When a user inputs personal information(S700), a mobile communication terminal stores the user's personal information in a telephone directory(S702). If the user selects personal information to be transmitted to other terminals and selects a transmission function, a controller of the mobile communication terminal selects contents of the stored personal information(S704), and configures a text message(S706). The controller transmits the personal information by using an SMS(S708). The other terminals receiving the personal information confirm the text message, and store the personal information in a data region(S710). |
