REINFORCED GYPSUM BOARD FOAM AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided is a reinforced gypsum board foam, which has excellent heat resistance, flame resistance, heat insulation, noise protection and strength, and is produced by a simple process with a high productivity. CONSTITUTION: The reinforced gypsum board foam is produced by the method comprising the steps of: mixing and stirring 85-95 wt% of calcined gypsum, 10-15 wt% of a glass fiber and a small amount of a foaming agent together with water in the amount of 1.5-2 times of the weight of the calcined gypsum to obtain gypsum slurry; and solidifying and curing the gypsum slurry in a mold to form the gypsum slurry into various shapes. In particular, the foaming agent is sodium bicarbonate.
