By providing a movable, separate, and independent blade member (31) which is normally maintained in a stowed and hidden position, a combined, integrated, multi-purpose scissors and box cutter product (20) is achieved. In the prese nt invention the combined integrated scissors and box cutting product incorporates two arm members (21, 22) pivotally mounted to each other, with each arm member (21, 22) incorporating a blade portion (24, 26) and a handle portion (23, 35). In the preferred construction the movable blade member (31 ) is retained within one handle portion (25) of one arm member (26) of the combined integrated scissors and box cutter product, with the movable, blade member being deployed for use only upon activation by the user. In this way the blade member remains concealed and hidden within the handle portion of t he arm member when not desired.
