A resistance element has a substrate (10), a resistance zone (20) having a resistor and four sides (22-28), four feed zones (32-38), in which each side is assigned one feed zone, and each feed zone (32-38) has a feed resistance and is spaced from the side (22-28) of the resistance zone (20) to which it is assigned. Each control/gate structure (52-58) is designed to adjust a resistance between the feed zone (32-38) to which the control/gate structure (52-58) is assigned and the side (22-28) of the resistance zone (20) to which is assigned the feed zone (32-38), to a first value or a to a second value, different from the first value.
