PURPOSE: An anti-refill type printer is provided to prevent a printer from being damaged due to misapplication of refill materials, such as ink and toner. CONSTITUTION: A wireless ID tag(40) having data of contents remaining in a cartridge(20) is attached to a predetermined portion of the cartridge(20). A wireless ID analyzing device(30) is mounted on the printer. The wireless ID analyzing device(30) makes communication with the wireless ID tag(40) so as to detect an amount of contents remaining in the cartridge(20). When the amount of contents remaining in the cartridge(20) is varied due to usage of the printer, the wireless ID analyzing device(30) operates so as to store content varying data in the wireless ID tag(40). If the remaining content is "0", a printing order is stopped by a controller.
