The internal combustion engine has hydraulic valves (14,15) with valve holders (20,21) constructed as through-bores (35,36) formed perpendicularly in the cylinder head cover (34) and directly next to each other between the camshafts, and having a larger diameter than the valve housings. The valve holders via horizontal transverse passages (37,39,42) on the underside of the cylinder head cover and vertical rising passages (43,45-47) in the bore walls (49,50) of the valve holders are in fluid communication with the radial bearings of the camshafts and pressure connection (P) of the hydraulic valves. |
