Process for fixing several hubs (9) on a hollow shaft (1) comprises hydraulically extending the hollow shaft using an extending device (5). The hollow shaft and the extending device are moved into an angular and axial position relative to the hub. After extending the hollow shaft and the extending device release a hub feed (10) and the above process steps are repeated until all the hubs are fixed to the hollow shaft. Preferred Features: The hubs are positioned on the hub feed using a rolling bearing or friction bearing element. The width of the extension of the hollow shaft on the fixing position is less than or equal to the width of the hub.
