The method involves manufacturing at least parts of a drive in each production factory, assembling drives in assembly factories for delivery to customers and transmitting orders for parts from assembly factories to production factories. Each part type is associated with a bundle type. A bundle has packaging for a relevant number of parts with at least one identification arrangement. Parts can only be ordered as a bundle or multiple bundles. The method involves manufacturing at least parts of a drive in each production factory (P) in a world-wide system of production and assembly (M) factories, assembling drives in assembly factories for delivery to customers (K), whereby production and assembly factories have parts stores, transmitting orders for parts from assembly factories to production factories, whereby each part type is associated with a bundle type and a bundle has packaging for a relevant number of parts with at least one identification arrangement.
