The invention relates to a device for illumination of the floors of apartment buildings in an individual manner with a device which permits the selection of the illumination of the floor required without illuminating all the other floors, as well as the entrance hall. The above comprises a current supply protection fuse (3) and a timer relay (8). Programming of the required floor by means of the floor selection panel located in the lift (13) illuminates the floor desired without illuminating the other floors (14). On leaving an apartment the lighting control is achieved by means of the pushbutton on the timer relay for the relevant floor (12) which illuminates only said floor (14). Said device is particularly suitable for the individual illumination of the floors of apartment buildings.
