ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE SECURITY SYSTEM USING PATCH ARRAY ANTENNA

PURPOSE: An electromagnetic wave security system using a patch array antenna is provided to sense invading objects within a monitoring region by forming the electromagnetic field between a transmitter and a receiver. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic wave security system using a patch array antenna includes a main control module(10), an electromagnetic wave reception module(20), and an electromagnetic wave transmission module(30). The main control module(10) and the electromagnetic wave reception module(20) are connected to internal communication ports(15,21), respectively. The main control module(10) receives a digital signal from the electromagnetic wave reception module(20) and transmits the digital signal to a display panel(12) or transmits an alarm signal to an alarm generation portion(13). A patch array antenna is formed by using antennas of the electromagnetic wave reception module(20) and the electromagnetic wave transmission module(30). A plurality of feeding patterns are constantly formed from a feeding point in order to form phases of the RF current applied to each path as in-phases. The amount of electric energy applied to patch elements of the third and the fourth columns is double the amount of electric energy applied to other patches.
