摘要 PURPOSE: A device and method for controlling the motion of a robot is provided to accelerate/decelerate the robot at maximum permissible torque without complex calculation and experiment by controlling the robot at maximum torque. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the motion of a robot(306) is composed of a torque instruction generating unit(302) generating maximum torque instructions(312), and a torque control unit(304) receiving the torque instructions. The torque control unit generates a torque control signal(314), and accelerate/decelerate the robot at maximum permissible torque.
