PURPOSE: A structure of a wharf is provided to bring a ship alongside the pier safely. CONSTITUTION: The structure of a wharf(1) for bringing a ship alongside the pier comprises the steps of piling up hollow blocks(10) on the riprap foundation(12) formed on the seabed, then filling up with ripraps(11a), installing projected blocks on a front wall(14) close to seawater of each hollow block(10), forming a diamond-shaped projection(21) to be same as the plane shape of cap concrete(20) placed on the uppermost end of the hollow block(10), the hollow block(10) and the projected block, installing a fender pile(22) made of rubber materials on the projection(21), and fixing a mooring post(23) on the top of the cap concrete(20) to place cap concrete(20) on the uppermost hollow block(10).
