The duvet (1) is assembled of two sheets of synthetic fibers (2, 3) fitted with individual covers (8) and joined with a zip fastener (16). Each of the sheets (2, 3) is provided with a step (10) along one of its edges in order to engage with the stepped edge (10) of the opposite sheet (2, 3). The two strips of the zip (16) are sewn to two matching areas at the inner sides of the steps (10), keeping the device (16) covered and avoiding the creation of the unpleasant feeling of a cold and rigid object touching the body.
