The fluid directing device has several first fluid directing elements (3) installed in parallel, and several second fluid directing elements (4) installed in parallel and at right angles to the first. Third fluid directing elements (6) protrude to the side from the first or second elements. The first and second fluid directing elements are spaced apart in the flow direction of the fluid, with the first elements in front of the second. On opposite sides of each first or second element several third fluid directing elements may be spaced apart and at right angles to the direction of flow.
