The sealing arrangement with two adjoining components with aligning through-holes (3), has a flat metal seal (10) with a bead encircling the through-holes. A recess (9) is formed in the joint face of one of the components and in it is accommodated the flat seal. The flat seal overlaps the edge (12) of the recess by its bead. At least one of the components is a flange in the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine. The recess is formed through impressing.
