PURPOSE: A stainless steel tubing/frit which simplifies frit design and contributes to convenience and cost reduction of column fabrication process, a chromatography column on which the tubing/frit is mounted, a solid tubing/frit capable of enduring mobile phase flow and high operating pressure, and a manufacturing method of inorganic oxide powder for fabricating the tubing/frit are provided. CONSTITUTION: The method of inorganic oxide powder for column frit comprises steps of treating inorganic oxide using strong base, and drying the strong base treated inorganic oxide so that a certain quantity of moisture is contained in the inorganic oxide, wherein the inorganic oxide is selected from the group consisting of silica, alumina, titania and zirconia. The manufacturing method of stainless steel tubing/frit comprises the processes of filling the inorganic oxide powder into an end part of the stainless steel tubing for column chromatography to a certain height; and sintering the inorganic oxide powder filled into the stainless steel tubing for column chromatography so that solid sintered frit is formed on an inner wall of the stainless steel tubing/frit. The chromatography column is characterized in that tubing/frit(101b) on an end part of one side of which sintered frit(10b) is formed is connected to an exit of column main body tubing(100) in which stationary phase(20) is filled by connection means(102b,103b,103b',104b,104b'), an entrance of the column main body tubing(100) is connected to tubing/frit(101a) on an end part of one side of which sintered frit(10a) is formed by connection means(102a,103a,103a',104a,104a'), and the sintered frits(10a,10b) are oppositely directed to each other with the column main body tubing(100) being formed between the sintered frits(10a,10b).
