A method of measuring the wheel alignment of a car, comprising the steps of supporting a body (2) with a wheel mounting part (5) set liftable, raising the wheel mounting part (5) to an adjusting position set lower than the position of the wheel mounting part (5) during the traveling of the car, measuring the position of the raised wheel mounting part (5) and a toe angle and a camber angle, calculating, based on the measured values, the estimated values of the toe angle and the camber angle at the position of the wheel mounting part (5) during the traveling of the car, calculating the adjustment amounts of the toe angle and the camber angle at the adjusting position, and adjusting the wheel alignment at the adjusting position by using the adjustment amounts, whereby the wheel alignment can be efficiently and accurately measured and adjusted without applying the same load on the body as that applied during the traveling, and a productivity can be increased.
