PURPOSE: An ultrasonic sensor system for estimating a position and a direction of a moving object is provided to remove the interference between ultrasonic signals by processing direct waves instead of reflected waves and generating ultrasonic waves from particular ultrasonic transmitters. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic sensor system for estimating a position and a direction of a moving object includes a wireless transmitter(TX), a plurality of wireless receivers(RX1-RX4), a plurality of ultrasonic transmitters(TS1-TS4), and a plurality of ultrasonic receivers(RS1-RS3). The wireless transmitter(TX) is installed at the moving object. The wireless receivers(RX1-RX4) are installed at different positions in order to receive call signals of the wireless transmitter(TX), respectively. The ultrasonic transmitters(TS1-TS4) are installed at different positions in order to transmit ultrasonic waves after the wireless receivers(RX1-RX4) receive the call signals. The ultrasonic receivers(RS1-RS3) are installed at different positions in order to receive the ultrasonic waves of the ultrasonic transmitters(TS1-TS4).
