<p>In a first aspect, the invention relates to a facade cladding unit, comprising on one hand a set of parallel front boards (2), and on the other hand two long narrow carriers (3) fixed on back sides of the front boards. An outer edge portion of each individual carrier (3) includes a shoulder surface (29) separating inner and outer edge surfaces (30, 31), the inner (30) one of which is located at a distance inside the ends (5) of the front boards in order to, together with portions of the front boards and a portion of the shoulder surface (29), be able to define an air gap through which moisture can be ventilated away, while the outer edge surface (31) is situated at a distance outside the ends of the front boards in order to enable that an outer portion of the shoulder surface should serve as an impost for a joint piece (8). In a second aspect, the invention relates to a facade cladding, built by a plurality of facade cladding units according to the invention.</p> |
