SKIRT STRUCTURE OF CLOTHES AND METHOD OF RAISING SKIRT PART IN THE STRUCTURE

A skirt structure of clothes formed by bending a wide tape-like skirt member (1) in longitudinal direction and seaming the member so as to hold a skirt part and a method of raising the skirt part in the structure, the method comprising the steps of seaming the skirt member (1) formed separately from a clothes body to the skirt part of the clothes, removing the skirt member (1) by releasing seamed thread at the time of raising of the skirt part, and re-seaming to hold the skirt part cut to a length suitable for a wearer to re-form a skirt line, whereby the skirt part can be raised without impairing the old feeling by using the structure in clothes such as denim trousers and skirts and coats washed out after the seaming.
