CONNECTOR FOR A LIGHT ELEMENT

Disclosed is a low-profiled light acceptor and/or emitter module connector. The holder casing (13) of an optical element module (11) has contacts (17) appearing on its rear side. These contacts (17) are connected to an optical element (12) built in the module (11). The housing (1) of the module connector has terminal contacts (4) partly appearing in the module mount seat (3), which is made in the housing (1). When the module (11) is put in the module mount seat (3), the contacts (17) of the holder casing (13) meet the terminal contacts (4) of the housing (1).
