METHOD FOR FAST FREQUENCY ESTIMATION BY MEANS OF THE RLS METHOD

A method for fast frequency estimation by calculating using the RLS method (Formula I), where (Formula II). The method is characterised in that the iterations in the calculation of pi are eliminated by pi being rewritten as (Formula III) and its second fraction being approximated by the Taylor expansion about points of the form 2<n>-1 with the intervals u selected so that the approximation becomes a monotonously decreasing function.
