PURPOSE: A floor material provided with a luminous unit is provided to light up a floor and to indicate letters or directions. CONSTITUTION: The floor material(10) provided with a luminous unit contains many luminous bodies(20) arranged on the upper part, and terminals(31,32) located along the thickness by joining with a conducting wire which connects the cathode and the anode of the luminous bodies(20). The luminescent control device for floor materials contains a control unit authorizing the voltage controlled through conducting wires connected respectively to the unconnected terminal located on the edge of the floor materials(10) connected with each terminal(31,32), a variable condenser controlling the brightness of the luminous body(20), a diode logic circuit unit controlling to switch the luminous body(20) on and off, and a power supply unit authorizing voltage to the control unit.
