A method for leak free connection in to a pipe duct with a minimum of impedance to the main flow has a C-profiled seal (7) on the end of the connecting pipe to grip both edge of the bored hole (2). An inner coaxial pipe section (4) is pushed into the connection to press the seal into a sealing position. The outer connecting duct is clamped to the outside of the main duct by a clamping brace with threaded (10) adjustment.
